today we went to the botanical gardens for our learning journey.
it wasn't a particularly interesting place, i guess. we were supposed to make an amazing race. the bright side is that we get to go to school a bit later today. yay!
so, anyway. we walked there, while the rest of the students except another class took a bus to their own places, because the botanical gardens is quite close to our school. when we got there we split into our groups. and we began walking. i think we were abit lost at the beginning with all those trees and ponds. then after awhile it started to drizzle so we took out our umbrellas and found shelter. then it started raining REALLY hard. and then jin hui started doing some LOL dance with her umbrella. like, spin, spin, spin, turn turn, spin spin. yeah and after we finished doing the stations and getting all the mosquito bites we went to mcdonald's! ms ho was leading us and she said that the first one to reach mac's gets free fries. so obviously everyone, except me and clarice, starts running running running. everyone loves fries. but my name is slow motion. and then ms ho says the people who run can't have the fries, (the road is very very wet with rain.) but everyone's so far ahead no one hears what she's saying. and me and clarice are just walking like 5m behind the rest of the group.
and we reach macdonalds! inthe end ms ho treats us to three large fries and piles them on the tray. IT FILLED THE WHOLE TRAY. :O the others said they didn't want to see fries again after we finished. hahaha.
