Well, today something AMAZINGLY INTERESTING happened today.
but first, the boring part. :)

school started as usual, and like always, i was on the verge of being late. :D so anyway. we had devotion and then flag raising, etc. then announcements.

teacher: "yesterday at *some event i can't exactly remember* our girls won 69-0."

everyone: *silence as usual.*

prefect: "today for assembly we're going to be having chapel."

everyone: *silence again.*

prefect: and mrs tan would like to speak to you.

*mrs tan goes up there.*

mrs tan: the water pipe that burst *there's some pipe that burst somewhere down under our school, causing water to be limited these few days D:* is more serious than expected. and it will need a whole day to repair.

everyone: ... and?

mrs tan: so, due to hygiene reasons, everyone will be dismissed early today.

everyone: huh?

mrs tan: everyone will be dismissed at 8.30 today. all teachers please meet in the learning lab now.

everyone: *realising what that means* (o.0 + :o) WHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!~ * then turns to a friend and starts talking and laughing and cheering.*

and you imagine the kallang wave, the reaction on everybody's faces. like, 8D. even the prefects start laughing.

but then mrs tan wasn't finished with the announcements. and she announced other uneventful things, but i bet no one was listening to her, cause the noise was definitely louder than before. and i don't blame them all. imagine,you just got to school and then your principal announces that there's no school for the rest of the day. PLUS, no cca. except the poor badminton girls, who had a competition up today. oh well, not the whole school rejoices. :/

so we slowly went back to class. after we got there, panting and all again, cause they put the sec 1 classes on the 4th floor, we needed to call our parents to tell them about the water pipe and the "evacuation" of the school and let pur form teacher speak to them. after that was done, we were just chatting in class, so excited about the interesting events. and nadiah asked if i wanted to go to j8. i decided not to. we sat there and waited for the announcement that we could go home. and then it came, with interesting results. after each name of a class, there'd be a EXTREMELY LOUD cheer. and guess what, it got louder with each class. haha.
i guess it's like someone at my school once said, no one can cheer the way smss does. I TOTALLY AGREE. :D
i went to the bus stop, and i promise you, you've never seen so many polka dots at a bus stop before. and after 6 extremely full buses had gone, about 1/4 of people were still there, and 165 had come! oh yay. sat with valerie in the bus. and after that i reached home, lazed around abit, then went to pick my sis up from school. to cut a long story short, i came home and here i am. :)

oh, and yesterday, i went for the second round of band auditions, and it was like psle oral all over again. the teacher interviews you and asks you really hard questions, and you know your getting into the cca is relying on this too. and i think i answered without exactly knowing what i was saying. OH NO. oh well, just have to hope for the best.
